Hi people,

this is my first post.... we'll start with todays news, thanks to Mugglenet and HPANA for the same.

The Clock is Ticking....:

The first-ever Harry Potter tour of Britain designed just for MuggleNet fans, set for July 7 – 17, 2006 is almost filled. If you want to get on board, you need to act fast. This unique group tour is limited to 20 people, age 11 and up. GoF tenth highest grossing film of all time.:

This past weekend's box office haul of $3m landed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at #10 on the list of the highest-grossing films of all time. Chamber of Secrets is in seventh position having earned $876.7m. To date, GOF has grossed $283m domestically and $583m overseas (total of $866m).



Daniel Radcliffe's new newsletter:

Thanks to DanRadcliffe.com, we have some snippets from Dan Radcliffe's most recent newsletter which fans receive when they write to him. We will post a scan once the actor releases a new newsletter.On the music front Dan has been listening to We Are Scientists, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Franz Ferdinand, the Rakes, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.Among the various movies he has seen lately, one of the ones he really enjoyed was Crime and Punishment.He further talks about his fantastic experience shooting December Boys (which is done now), how speechless he was over the attendance of the GOF premieres, and thanks everyone for their support and their generosity towards Demelza House in 2005.



HP nominated for Moviefone Moviegoer Awards:
Harry Potter has received several nominations at the 2006 Moviefone Moviegoer Awards. Nominations are in the areas of Movie of the Year, Actor of the Year (Dan Radcliffe), Actress of the Year (Emma Watson), Best Scene-Stealer (Brendan Gleeson), and Vilest Villain (Ralph Fiennes). Fiennes also received a nomination for Sexiest Kiss for his work in the film The Constant Gardener and for Most Hysterical Performance for Wallace & Gromit.
